A review of 2022 and what to expect in 2023
As the year 2022 comes to an end, I thought I’d do one final message for what turned out to be the longest year of my entire life. My expectations for 2023, are very high as it will be the year, I turn a half century.
There is still a lot left to be done in this country if we, as a country, decide it’s worth saving - at all. I for one, believe it is but not in the current state or on its current trajectory.
Like many of us, you too have possibly lost much this year, as well as 2020 and 21.
A year ago, family gatherings were strictly controlled with special rules for the unvaccinated, in some jurisdictions. Even a year later, it’s still incomprehensible that Governments believed they had the Right to stop you from being with your family, and Families were gullible enough to allow it.
I don’t think anyone has gone untouched by the events of the last 3 years.
Many of us have lost our jobs because we would NOT consent to a novel and experimental medical procedure; to which little was know about long-term health safety. Unfortunately, we’re now living with the consequences of those who did not care about the long term health safety.
We were corralled into our urban cages; even after knowing full well these lockdowns were counter-productive, economically destructive and psychologically harmful.
We were forced to mask ourselves… our children and loved-ones, amidst an everchanging scientific censorship campaign which forced ‘one-solution’… discrediting all others. I can’t even imagine the toll these policies will have on our youngest generation for years to come. A generation that has been robbed of basic social interaction, development and learning body language.
Our seniors were inhumanely isolated by burdensome policies; effectively barring them in their residences… to spend their last days completely alone. We should never forget that and we need to hold those accountable.
The list goes on, and on and on.
YES… we have a lot of work to do. So many of our fellow Canadians are unaware of the information war being levied on them by our government. These government employees… elected by the people continue to step-on and tarnish the very principles they MUST defend. When we questioned their inconsistencies, media institutions sought to divide us more… separating vax from unvaxxed… as if playing a perverse game of ‘divide and conquer’ in real time.
You may have lost family members, friends, and co-workers, to illness, SADs or even suicide.
You may have also been pushed out of, otherwise inseparable relationships, because other people took the word of the Government, or the Anchor Man, over the countless hours of research you personally did, about the risks and harms associated with certain Government Policies. It wouldn’t have made a difference, even if you had a PhD in biological sciences, because those that do, were absolutely vilified for speaking the truth in public.
Well credentialed scientists and doctors, who are experts in the field of virology and immunology, have been targeted on all social media platforms, for questioning the Government’s own Science. We have seen deliberate targeted attacks on the reputations of scientists, who had they supported the experimental medical intervention, would have been hailed as household heroes. But because some of these courageous scientists actually abided by true scientific methods, and not scientific dogma, their reputations were attacked and their careers ruined as they were deemed no longer credible, conspiracy theorists and those that should lose their livelihood, simply because they had followed the same principled practices, laws and ethical rules around human experimentations and pharmaceuticals.
What was solidified for me these last 3 years is that those whom I faithfully believed would have stood up to the Nazis, actually wouldn’t have. Many people pleasantly surprised me because I’ve seen firsthand that they would risk their very freedom, to remain free.
People like Tamara Lich, who was threatened with jail time, for the crime of “Publicly Accepting” a Freedom Award. Ironically, she was later jailed for 25 days, for posing in a photo with me the night she accepted the George Jonas Freedom Award, even though our law firm was the host of the award, and there was no breach of her conditions. This kind of Political retribution is something you’d expect from North Korea, not Canada.
We have seen the government, and the media, do everything in their power to stifle, censor and to vilify everyone with an opposing view.
Quit possibly, you may be the one who turned your back on those loved ones who just had a very opposite opinion than you did during the previous 3 years. You may have been a parent who disavowed your own child, and you may have been the son or daughter that listened to strangers, above the sacred love of your parents and their absolute biological imperative to keep you safe. You may be the sibling that refused to acknowledge the views of your brother or sister and forced the rest of the family to choose between you and them.
It seems, in that case, the words of a stranger were more important than the bonds of your family.
Last January, thousands of Canadians, took to the highways and overpasses as convoys from all over this country, both from the East and West, traveled to the nation's capital to send a very clear message to the federal government. That message was the Government works for the People, and that no temporary emergency is going to allow them to forsake the long-established Rule of Law in this country, nor would we allow these measures to become permanent.
What may surprise you was that the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa, the protests in Coutts Alberta and Windsor Ontario, were never about mandates. Nor were the protests that emerged in 27 other countries, around the world, after the Freedom Convoy.
It was, and always has been, about government overreach, at every level, and from every institution within our so-called civilized society.
Many opponents of the Freedom Convoy, most notably the government and the media, have often justified the actions of the governments and institutions under the guise of a global emergency that was a threat to the lives of us all.
But how do we know if the threat was actually real, other than because the Media said so? If you would have seen a poll, prior to the last 3 years, asking if the media and Governments lie, what do you believe the results would be? I’m not going to give you a stat on that but let’s say the pessimist in me believes that you would have probably, along with most people, agreed they lie.
So why then did so many people believe in the fear porn of the media and Government without question? My only conclusion is that fear is a powerful motivation, and the Media knows it!
When you consider the sanctity of informed consent, every medical professional knows that their duty to the patient is to give the patient all of the risks associated with any form of medical intervention. That's what it means to be informed. It’s a two-part formula. The medical professional is responsible to inform the patient of the risks of the intervention. The patient is responsible to either agree or disagree but they're the ones who must consent to the medical intervention, because they are the ones who must live with the consequences.
We are now just learning the real risks associated with the experiment and this should have been known prior to millions of people participated in the experimental. Before, not after!
There is no place with informed consent that discusses coercion, other than in the Criminal Code of Canada, under criminal assault.
Many Canadians decided, for themselves, there simply was not enough time from when the first version of the injection was introduced to the point where it was being administered to the general public. People intuitively felt that the long-term safety data did not exist therefore how could you be informed of the long-term risks while vigorously being coerced into giving your consent.
Many Canadians simply did not take the experimental injection to be inoculated from a virus. Many Canadians participated to be inoculated against unemployment or from being prevented from excluded from society and denied access to the necessities of life. Ironically, risking their health was easier than resisting societal pressure to conform.
Many Canadians used the convenient excuse that they just wanted to travel while being grossly ignorant of the fact that Mobility, under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in Canada, is exempt from the notwithstanding clause in Section 33 of the Charter. All governments of Canada are forbidden, in the Charter of Rights under Section 6, from restricting you're right to travel into and outside of Canada or between the Provinces – Even during a National Emergency, because the drafters of the Charter even considered a Pandemic, and still determined that removing your mobility was too high a price to pay, in any circumstance.
Its so much easier to live in fear, to hate others, and to shy away from hardship. What is much more difficult, is to let it all go and look for positive signs that change has been made.
I’m not interest in Amnesty, in exchange for expediency. I’m interested in Accountability and holding those responsible, legally, for what has been done to this country, no matter how long it takes.
Listening to each other can be a challenge – and we should all take up that challenge.
Think about the things that hold us together… that keep the fabric of our democracy intact. It’s time to repair and reach out to others with an open mind.
Calm, quiet, and dignified inner strength can conquer the most oppressive foes.
As far as I am concerned, there is a virus in this country – I refer to it as Mainstream Media. Just imagine the harmony we would have in this country, if we had a MEDIA that was relentless in the pursuit of truth, instead of disseminating lies. Would we treat each other with respectful disagreement vs disrespectful indifference?
The countless Grassroots movements, Freedom Convoy, and Canada Marches were, in a sense, the People of Canada’s Emergency Act. The $20 Millions Dollars raised by Canadians, for the Freedom Convoy, in the words of Tamara Lich, was a symbol of hope that we were not alone in our views about Government Overreach.
So what is next and what should we expect for 2023?
I think We have to commit to 4 things.
First, It is time to be bold. For almost 3 years, we have been patient, respectful while being disrespected by friends and family who have abandoned the relationships, they once had with us. It is time that we start speaking up – because our friends and families have already made their choice about how much they are willing to disrespect us – we need not worry about speaking the TRUTH because it may offend those who have already offended.
Second, start paying attention to legislation being passed by the Federal and provincial Governments. Bills like C-11, C-21 and C-36 are deliberate attempts to transfer your personal safety and security, into the hands of the Government and your right to hear the truth about issues that impact your life. 2023 will be the year of Legislation and you don’t want to wake up one day and wonder what the hell has happened to your liberties while you were asleep! Just ask your Eastern European friends what it’s like to live under an oppressive state.
Third, turn off the mainstream media. They lie, we know it, they know it. Call your Senators and implore them to stop BILL C-11 as it is an assault on your right to hear the truth and we must call on our institutions to BE BETTER, instead of echoing propaganda like parrots.
Fourth, we must commit to bringing about this change with PEACE. Peacefulness combined with constructive action CANNOT BE IGNORED. We can lead the way with peace, even when our Government provokes us and discredits us, like they did last February with the vicious attacks against peaceful, unarmed, protesters. And like they just did, once again, during the Public Order Emergency Commission. Every time they take action against the public, they reveal just how far they are willing to go to control every aspect of our lives, in the name of safety.
This is your year Canada. All of you. Don’t tire of standing up for the truth.
Generations, after us, will remember these days when men and women of conscience, and character, stood up for freedom irrespective of the cost.
Hard times have created many strong Canadians. Strong Canadians will create an informed society. And an informed society creates a strong democracy.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas this year with your families and friends, and I pray for a future free of fear and the belief that our children will inherit a country of unlimited prosperity and freedom of informed and respected choices. This is our Year Canada.
