Thank you for exposing this disgusting person with his sociopathic mental issues. He is an example of the dangerous people among us; many with the extreme left-wing ideology currently being shown by some followers of the Liberal Party. There is no end to what people with this mindset will do or say to achieve their goal. They use extreme, often illegal, tactics to attack others who do not agree with their opinions, and are very often purveyors of censorship.

There is just no end to the likes of CAHN it would seem -- a festering hate-mongering group who attacks anyone who does share its twisted extremist ideology that,, as you note, has been generously funded by the Liberal government and its agencies for years. They falsely attacked the Freedom Convoy labelling them as racists and extremists, and even tried Nazis -- it was all a lie. They have been manufacturing this crap for years. More recently they painted the parents who marched in the Millions March for Children -- protesting schools indoctrinating their kids in gender ideology as hateful extremists. They smeared James Topp -- the CAF vet who marched across Canada to protest vaccine mandates. They smeared teenager Josh Alexander who became anti gender ideology proponent after he was suspended from a Catholic School, no less, for expressing views that there were only two sexes, and Billboard Chris, who also protests gender ideology as it pertains to the insanity of 'gender affirming care' for children is also on their hit list.

I watched a lot of Andrew Laughton when he was with True North Media and The Andrew Laughton Show in particular. Unlike most journalists working in MSM, Andrew made no bones about his Conservative leanings. Yet, despite that, I always found his shows informative, measured and often tinged with some humour, often about himself and often self-deprecating. He has been very open about his mental health struggles with depression, which was a very personal, but he felt it was necessary go public with them given his concerns about the Liberal government's rather cavalier intentions to extend Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) to people suffering with mental illness. Somehow the Liberals position on this was that they was would actually never offer MAiD to someone with a mental illness that was suicidal, because they had measures in place to ensure a mentally ill person seeking to have the government kill them because they couldn't do it themselves wasn't actually suicidal, rap your head around that. But for CAHN discuss this very personal and obviously very painful aspect of Andrew's life and use it as a weapon is beyond disgusting, yet, not surprising. Because these people have no limit in the depth, when it comes to how low they will stoop to sick their hate on someone. It is so ironic that they have the audacity to call themselves the Canadian Anti-Hate Network.

You are so right on! Andrew Lawton is one of the good ones! Honest sincere and un-buyable. That's something that the liberals and all the ideologues do not understand: INTEGRITY!! Liberals do not have that. Hang in there Andrew. You know that you are doing the right thing in the right way!!

I saw firsthand how the CAHN conducts themselves during their interviews on C.B.C. in regards to the FREEDOM CONVOY. In my opinion they are the hate network and should be shut down. It's obvious they work for the Liberal party who have in their reign destroyed Canada as a nation.

Thank you Tom for bringing this to the people who have no idea how corrupt the Liberal party is! I can’t even call him a government. They are authoritarian and dangerous. I resent it to my taxpayer money is going to these corrupt orgs and Smearers of Lies and huge deception.

I love The Freedom Convoy and I love Andrew Lawton. It seems anyone who goes against the machine is potentially at risk for this. These are really dark days for Canada.

Everyone who has ever met Andrew likes him.

.

My guess is that he will be re-elected, and re-elected, and re-elected.

.

The Conservative Party should make him the shadow minister of the Dept of Nice.

Well done. Let's not forget that CAHN which receives funds from the Liberal government acts as their attack dog against any populist movement, including the Convoy. They facilitate the globalist's go-to move against critically thinking, mostly working class citizens. Trudeau and his ilk would be nowhere without it.

I recall seeing a video of Even Balgord sucking up to some low-level Ottawa bureaucrat in control of Gov't funding of CAHN.

I'll keep this very brief.

.

The Canadian Anti-Hate Network (aka CAHN), and Directors Bernie Farber, Richard Warman, and Evan Balgord are SCUM ... Worst of the Worst.

.

They making a living out of publishing TRASH that others would not touch, but who willingly re-publish it as Truth. CBC, Global, CTV, and the Toronto (Red) Star top that list.

I lost my last Twitter account when Bernie Farber complained that I had published EVAN BALGORD's home address. That was 3 years ago. He may or may not have moved since then.

.

Balgord lived in the westernmost part of the GTA, but it was someone from Ottawa who provided his address.

.

Yes he is very widely DESPISED.

The CAHN is a joke. I recall a response to criticism of (very obvious left-wing) bias by Bernie Farber along the lines of (paraphrasing) 'we don't have enough funding to monitor other groups, but if you give us more funding will will monitor everybody'. I laughed out loud.

In complete fulfillment of Orwell’s long-ago warnings, things are now commonly named for the opposite of what they actually are, CAHN being but one of many, many examples.

This is a very deliberate tactic, in that it generates “cognitive dissonance” right off of the top, befuddling the majority minds of the target audiences and sabotaging any prospects for level-headed discussions about the named entities, legislation, policies, etc.

We, as a society, have been conditioned, rigorously and most expertly, via the opposite-named educational system and the opposite-named news-and-information networks. Via these and other means we have been trained to seek to belong to “officially”allowed groups and to conform to likewise allowed thoughts and behaviours - even to the point of cherishing those tendencies as strengths, as opposed to evidence of the weak-mindedness they actually denote.

As a people we have been beguiled by their “word majick,” going about life under a mass-imposed spell. Breaking free of that spell is, therefore, of the utmost importance. The urgency of doing so has never been greater.

If I were EVAN BALGORD, right about now I'd be wondering if 'someone' is going to post his home address again.

Excellent commentary Tom. I personally believe Andrew Lawton to be one of the top journalists of the time.

I was a bit disappointed when he wasn’t assigned a cabinet position because I believe him to be a stalwart supporter, and champion of appropriate leadership in any endeavour.

As for CAHN we would be well served by not giving ‘them’ the time of day…

Thanks for sharing this Tom. I didn’t know Andrew was a target for CAHN. Solidifies my conviction to vote for Andrew if the “anti-hate” network hates him.
